About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail driven DISTRIBUTION ADMINISTRATOR to join our transformed distribution/warehouse operations team in Dalkeith. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and has hands on experience with Epicor or a comparable ERP/WMS (Enterprise Resource Planning/Warehouse Management System). You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, accurate data management, and efficient coordination across our distribution network.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate order, inventory, and shipment data within Epicor or similar ERP platforms.
• Process sales orders, purchase orders, and distribution documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory control activities.
• Generate reports and analyse data to support operational decision making.
• Resolve discrepancies in orders, shipments, and system records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution function.
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential
• Strong working knowledge of Epicor ERP or similar systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Sage, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Confident communicator with the ability to work cross functionally.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• A problem solving mindset and willingness to learn new processes.
• Operate effectively as part of a team, and able to work on own initiative.
• Flexible attitude and approach.
Desirable
• Previous experience in a distribution, logistics, or supply chain administration role.

Salary will be dependent on experience, within the range £12.21 to £12.90 per hour (£23,809.50 to £25,155 per annum)
