Summary
Support the DBS Team Leader in the maintenance, improvement, development and implementation of DBS systems and databases.
Support, including training, DBS Team and Customers in the use of the system and ensuring systems are used to their full potential.
Supporting and administering the DBS checks across the Council and for external customers including countersignatory responsibility. The post holder will be responsible for verifying and countersigning DBS applications to uphold the high standards required to maintain Registered Body status with DBS.

What you will do:
Ensure DBS systems are effective and efficient.
Deal with day-to-day system queries and undertake any system maintenance as required.
Support the Team Leader in implementing any system changes as quickly and effectively as possible.
Test and quality assure system changes.
Provide training where necessary and ensure all training materials are up to date and amended as necessary.
Support the DBS process for internal and external customers.
