We’re recruiting for a number of Aerospace Stores Operatives to join a highly successful and long-established aerospace manufacturer in Denham. This role supports the production of critical aerospace components used in advanced and life-saving technology.

What’s on Offer for the Aerospace stores operative

Salary: £26,822 per annum
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x
Hours:
Mon–Thurs: 08:00–17:00
Fri: 08:00–12:00
37.5 hours per week
Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays
Christmas Shutdown: Paid time off until 5 January
Pension: 9% employer contribution (private pension)
Parking: Free on-site parking

The Aerospace stores operative

As an Aerospace Stores Operative, you’ll be responsible for ensuring parts and materials flow smoothly through the manufacturing process. This is a physically active role involving standing, manual handling, picking, and packing throughout the day.

Key duties include:

Picking, packing, and labelling aerospace parts accurately
Working with high-value precision components
Checking batch numbers, quantities, and part data using SAP
Supporting goods-in, internal stores, and dispatch operations
Carrying out visual quality checks and maintaining records
Preparing materials for production and on-time delivery
Using forklifts, pallet stackers, scissor lifts, and saws (full training provided)
What We’re Looking for in an Aerospace stores operative

Proven experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics role within manufacturing
Backgrounds from aerospace, automotive, rail, defence, or precision engineering are highly desirable
Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet for long periods
Confident handling tools, components, and materials
Basic IT skills (SAP experience is a plus, not essential)
Reliable with a stable employment history
Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude
