Crynodeb
1. Work with the Widening Participation and Training Lead and the Administration Team to ensure that the relevant registers are maintained in line with the NMC and HCPC requirements and regulations. 7. Work with the Administration Team to ensure that the clinical student apprenticeships administration processes are developed and maintained to provide the relevant assurances as required by the Trust, Higher Education Institutions and regulatory bodies. 8. Manage the clinical educational audit process in conjunction with the Pre and Post Registration Nursing and AHP Managers, ensuring the appropriate compliance and that all clinical placement areas are appropriate for clinical learning. 9. Work in partnership with the Higher Education Institutions within the Fitness for Practice process and DBS panel process 10. In collaboration with relevant divisional staff, Practice Assessors and Clinical Educators, support clinical apprenticeship students on an individual or group basis to resolve difficulties with assessments and assist with individual action planning. Where necessary communicate difficult or contentious information regarding termination of placement or failure to achieve practice outcomes. Act as a key contact for dealing with complaints/concerns relating to Clinical Apprentices. 2. Manage conflict between clinical student apprentices and practice staff, in collaboration with relevant divisional staff and Higher Education Institutions. 3. Advise, inform and guide key stakeholders in respect of curriculum delivery. 4. Support the recruitment of new staff by communicating recruitment opportunities to both student apprentices and Trusts. 5. Work collaboratively with Health Education England in order to advise on nursing/AHP apprenticeships and funding. 6. Work with Trust services and where necessary, the Independent Sector, to maximise the availability of practice placements. 7. Advise and communicate with the Trust and partner organisations/educational establishments on complex issues related to clinical student apprenticeships. 8. Develop policies and procedures to maintain and improve the quality of practice placements both within the Trust and in the independent sector. 9. Develop reports as requested by the Widening Participation and Training Lead in relation to designated areas of responsibilities, analysing data to ensure that meaningful information is provided. 10. Represent the department and/or organisation at relevant meetings ensuring appropriate preparation, participation and feedback.
