Location: East End, Glasgow
Working Conditions: Hybrid - 3 days office (minimum), 2 days home. 35 hours per week.

Role PreviewThis is a fast-paced Finance Assistant role within a busy housing association's finance team, with a strong focus on high-volume purchase ledger processing.
You'll be supporting day-to-day transactional finance activity, working to deadlines and handling a steady flow of invoices and supplier queries. The team needs someone who has been in a similar environment before and can hit the ground running quickly.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys structured, process-driven work, is comfortable managing volume, and takes pride in keeping things accurate and organised under pressure.
You will play a key part in keeping the purchase ledger running smoothly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching, batching, and coding invoices in line with internal processes
- Managing supplier queries and resolving discrepancies promptly
- Completing supplier statement reconciliations
- Assisting with payment runs and general finance support tasks
- Working closely with the wider finance team to meet deadlines
Essential:
- Previous experience in a finance assistant or purchase ledger role
- Confidence working with high-volume, manual invoice processing
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- Comfortable working in an office environment
Desirable:
- Experience within housing, public sector, or not-for-profit
- Familiarity with finance systems and spreadsheets
- 35 hours per week
