Summary

Job Title Support Worker – Cambridge (CB2) - PUR-296-220
About the service user
T is an 18 year old young man currently studying equine management who hopes to continue his studies for his dream job as a vet. T has high functioning Autism and sensory issues, his family describe him as quirky, happy, calm and polite. Horses are his passion he also enjoys art.



Hours and rate of Pay
3 hours a week to be used flexibly weekends & holidays.
£15.60 per hour.

Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.





What you would be doing… You will be someone to bridge the gap between family & friend.

Supporting T to navigate the community locally and to increase confidence when using public transport and therefore gaining key independence skills.



The person I would like…
Experience of supporting others is not essential for this role however, it is essential that you are open minded and sensitive to T’s sensory difficulties which include certain smells, germs, sunlight some metals and some spoken words.

Someone who has a calm, quiet nature but who is an excellent communicator.

Someone who has a genuine interest in supporting others to live their best lives.

If you have similar interests to T that would be amazing!
