We are seeking a multi-skilled Building Services Engineer to support our facilities operations across two high-profile sites for Samsung.
Job Description
This hands-on role will involve planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, plumbing, and general building services, delivering high standards of reliability and compliance for our Samsung contract.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a facilities or building services environment, with a bias towards plumbing and mechanical systems, but must be comfortable performing a variety of multi-skilled maintenance tasks.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills further, with training opportunities available across multiple disciplines.
This role will be split across two sites, with 3 days per week at King’s Cross, N1C 4DQ and 2 days per week at the Samsung Site, 80 Strand, WC2R 0BP.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across mechanical, plumbing, and building services systems
Respond to reactive maintenance requests, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently
Maintain plant, equipment, and building services in line with statutory and client standards
Record and report maintenance activities accurately
Support site compliance, including H&S and operational standards
Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors, and site stakeholders
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Previous experience in facilities or building services maintenance
Multi-skilled capabilities across mechanical, plumbing, and general building services
Ability to work independently and prioritise maintenance tasks
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Willingness to undertake further training to expand technical skills
