Personal Assistant needed - 20 hours per week in Chesterfield to support a young man help increase his confidence and independence JH-DCC-002
Looking for a Personal Assistant who is outgoing, confident and understanding to help support a young gentleman with autism, Asperger's, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression to increase his confidence, getting out in the community and with household tasks.
We are looking to employ a friendly, confident and understanding Personal Assistant to support an individual with day-to-day tasks and routines. The role involves promoting independence and helping to build confidence, particularly in areas such as personal care, ensuring medication is taken correctly, planning meals, preparing meals, and supporting with general household tasks.
As well as assistance within the home the individual would also like help and support getting into the community socially and with joining social clubs. The role will also require using public transport such as the bus, so the individual can have increased confidence with taking public transport individually.
He loves gaming, going for walks and is interested in trying new hobbies such as going to the gym or swimming.
There are two dogs in the home.
