Job Advert

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Programme Management Office (PMO) and play a key role in delivering
large-scale, high-impact projects across Torus. This is a varied and challenging role where you’ll take full ownership of projects
from initiation through to delivery and closure. You’ll work across systems, services, and teams to ensure projects are delivered
on time, within budget, and to a high standard - supporting Torus to modernise systems, improve services, and deliver real value
for our customers and communities. You’ll be comfortable operating in complex environments, working with senior stakeholders,
managing suppliers, and leading change across multiple service areas.

This is a hybrid working role, combining home-based and office-based working. The team has two core office days each week at our
Liverpool City Centre office, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The successful candidate will also be expected to work flexibly, with
occasional requirements to attend the office on additional days or travel to other Torus locations in line with business needs.

What You Will Be Doing:

* Leading projects end to end, from initiation through to delivery and closure, ensuring strong governance, risk management, and
reporting throughout.
* Managing the delivery of large-scale, high-impact projects, including system implementations, configuration, and migration from
legacy systems.
* Working closely with internal teams such as IT, Finance, Housing, Asset Management, and Customer Services to define
requirements and deliver successful outcomes.
* Acting as the main point of contact for external suppliers, managing relationships to ensure delivery meets agreed objectives
and contractual terms.
* Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, documentation, milestones, and resource schedules.
* Leading testing, training, and change management activity to support successful adoption of new systems and processes.
* Managing project budgets, monitoring spend, and ensuring strong financial control and value for money.
* Identifying, managing, and mitigating risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
* Providing regular progress updates, insights, and recommendations to senior leaders and project boards.

What We Are Looking For:

* A proven track record of delivering large, complex projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
* A recognised project management qualification (PRINCE2, APM, MSP) or equivalent experience.
* Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience.
* Experience working in the social housing sector, or a strong understanding of housing services, systems, and regulatory
environments.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work confidently with senior leaders and external suppliers.
* Experience managing matrix teams and coordinating cross-functional resources.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Strong financial, governance, and risk management capability.
* A proactive, resilient, and adaptable approach, able to manage change and competing priorities.
* A clear commitment to equality, diversity, and health and safety.

Interview Process:

* The recruitment process will consist of two stages. Stage one will be an initial screening interview with the hiring manager,
held via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th February 2026. Candidates who are successful at stage one will be
invited to attend a face-to-face interview at our Liverpool City Centre office on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th February
2026. This stage will include a presentation, details of which will be shared in advance, followed by a competency-based
interview.

Additional Information:

Each successful applicant will be required to complete the following pre-employment checks prior to a start date being agreed:

* Right to work verification
* Qualification certificate check
* 2x Completed references
* OH Health Questionnaire – Fit For Work
* Enhanced DBS check
* Completion of all new starter documentation including signed T&C’s

Please note, we reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive a high volume of applications.
