Elite Personnel are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded company who are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis.
This opportunity would suit a payroll professional who enjoys working within a multi-company payroll environment and takes pride in delivering an accurate, compliant, and client-focused service.
Working Hours
• 3 days per week: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
• 5 hours per day
• Core hours: 10:00am – 2:00pm
• The remaining hour per day can be agreed flexibly with the successful candidate
Key Responsibilities
• Processing multiple client payrolls across weekly and monthly cycles using BrightPay
• Managing payroll data including timesheets, starters, leavers, variable pay, and statutory payments
• Ensuring PAYE, RTI submissions, and statutory deductions are completed accurately and on time
• Producing payroll documentation such as payslips, P45s, P60s, and reports
• Supporting clients with payroll queries in a professional and timely manner
• Setting up new PAYE schemes and workplace pension schemes
• Administering auto-enrolment duties and pension contributions
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and resolving discrepancies
• Keeping up to date with UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements
• Assisting with general payroll and administrative tasks as required
Essential Experience & Skills
• Minimum 1 years’ experience working in a multi-company payroll environment
• Use of BrightPay
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator with a professional approach to client service
• Comfortable managing deadlines and working independently within a small team
