Prospero Teaching is seeking passionate and resilient SEN Educational Support Workers to support a range of SEN schools and Alternative Provisions across Havant and the surrounding areas. This includes opportunities within both primary and secondary age groups.

These settings offer a highly rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs, behavioural challenges, or barriers to learning. Many of our partner schools offer temp‑to‑perm pathways for candidates who demonstrate commitment, consistency, and the ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing personalised support to children with a range of special educational needs
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of creative, therapeutic, and inclusive activities
- Promoting safety, emotional wellbeing, and positive engagement
- Supporting pupils with daily routines, emotional regulation, and developing independence
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families through clear and consistent communication

Contract Details
- Location: Havant and surrounding areas
- Position: SEN Educational Support Worker
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Type: Full-time, with temp‑to‑perm pathways available
- Pay Rate: From £13.96 per hour
- Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
- Provide professional references covering the past 24 months, ideally involving work with children or vulnerable individuals
- Hold a Level 2/3 qualification in childcare, education, or a related field (or have relevant experience)
