Daniel Owen is recruiting a Team Supervisor (Operations) to lead and coordinate responsive repairs and maintenance teams within Housing & Technical Services. You'll ensure works are completed safely, on time and to high standards, with a focus on quality, compliance and customer satisfaction.
Role Overview
Lead and organise maintenance operations, supervise craft/trade staff and contractors, and ensure responsive repairs are delivered within contractual requirements and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily team operations and workload planning
- Allocate work and monitor performance to meet targets and service levels
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks
- Oversee materials, time sheets and reporting
- Provide guidance to contractors and team members
- Identify defects and recommend corrective actions
Requirements
- Experience supervising maintenance or trades teams
- Good planning, organisational and leadership skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving ability
- Competent IT skills
- Knowledge of building standards and health & safety
- Willingness to travel, attend meetings and work outside normal hours if needed
Desirable
- Building trade qualification or equivalent experience
