Abbeyfield The Dales is a not-for-profit care charity with one mission: Making Time for Older People. We provide a supportive, family-feel working environment guided by our values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Openness.
We are looking for a caring and reliable Senior Care Assistant to join our team.
Hours:
2 shifts over 7 days 8pm to 8.15am (alternate weekends)
Key Duties:
• Lead shifts while delivering high-quality, person-centred care
• Promote residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing
• Support with personal care, mobility, meals, and use of equipment
• Encourage participation in social activities
• Contribute to care plans and act as a Key Worker when required
• Safely administer prescribed medication in line with policies
• Complete and oversee clear shift handovers, escalating concerns appropriately
About you:
• Kind, respectful and dependable
• Good spoken and written English
• Able to work the required hours
• Right to work in the UK and able to commute reliably
• Have a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification
