Coordinating as and when required in the absence of a senior practitioner the highly specialist area of the recovery unit without supervision for a span of duty, which will involve being responsible for the smooth running of the recovery unit -using all forms of knowledge, skills and experience required to be able to undertake the duties competently. Demonstrating a high level of communication and inter-personal skills, promoting and maintaining effective liaison throughout the Unit and with the wider multidisciplinary This includes recognising potential issues and ensuring any changes or issues are communicated to theatres, anaesthetic staff and wards as necessary. Support the theatre and ODP coordinator in the effective and efficient management of the Communicating with the wards any changes of lists and when pre-medications are due.
