Explorers at Trefonen is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and professional nursery team. The role involves working as a key person to provide high-quality education and care for young children in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Duties include planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment both indoors and outdoors, and supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. You will observe, assess, and record children’s progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to online learning journals.

The successful candidate will build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promote good behaviour and independence, and meet children’s emotional, social, and physical needs. A strong understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality is essential. An enhanced DBS check and paediatric first aid certificate are required.
