TeacherActive are currently recruiting Qualified Teachers (QTS) to support a range of primary and secondary schools across the Thurrock area. With schools needing cover now, there are plenty of opportunities for immediate starts across a variety of settings.

    The Role & Responsibilities:

    As a Qualified Teacher, you will:

    • Deliver engaging, structured lessons in line with the national curriculum


    • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners


    • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment


    • Assess, monitor and support student progress


    • Follow school policies and work collaboratively with staff


    • Be flexible and professional when supporting different schools and settings


      ✅ The Successful Qualified Teacher Will Have:

      • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are welcome to apply


      • Experience teaching within UK schools (primary or secondary)


      • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills


      • A positive, adaptable and reliable approach


      • Excellent communication and organisational skills
