Summary

Join us as a Data Analyst and play a key part in developing and managing information systems that support Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) reporting. You’ll work with clinical and operational data, contribute to our data warehouse and business intelligence solutions, and help ensure high-quality, trusted information for both internal and external reporting.

If you have strong NHS informatics experience and advanced Microsoft SQL Server skills and want to contribute to enhanced patient care through data, we’d love to hear from you.

• Develop, manage, and improve information systems and reporting solutions for Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) data.
• Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely data for internal and external reporting, supporting management decision-making and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues, clinical teams, and external partners to deliver system improvements and training, and support research and service evaluation initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, uphold data governance standards, and contribute to quality, patient safety, and risk management.
• Stay current with national and local information standards, participate in training, and promote equality, diversity, and safeguarding within the Trust.

• To support the delivery of effective and efficient services by enabling better management decision making. This is done by ensuring the availability of trusted information, both internally and externally, and supporting the information use capabilities of colleagues and ensuring that the organisations external activity reporting requirements are met.
• To make a senior contribution in the development of the CPFT data warehouse reporting solution, including data architecture, processing and appropriate presentation layer from a range of clinical and operational data sources. Whilst appropriate alternative solutions should be considered, the technical environment is mainly with Microsoft SQL Server products.
• With the support of the Head of Data, lead the reporting of all aspects of Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration reporting, data queries and returns.
• To be accountable for ensuring that assigned internal and external activity information is available to the required standard and meets the required quality and governance standards.
• To provide appropriate technical guidance and support within an informatics environment to colleagues within the Information and Performance department and the wider Trust.
