The Band 3 Administrator position is available for a highly organised, motivated and enthusiastic person, located at Mulberry 3, Fulbourn Hospital, Fulbourn, CB21 5EF within the Crisis and Inpatients Admin Hub.
At CPFT our adult inpatient wards operate an exciting, new ambitious model of care, known as the NAV model, focussed on providing the right care at the right time. The post holder will provide a comprehensive administrative service for Mulberry 3 and other inpatient wards as needed within Fulbourn Hospital.
• This role involves data inputting of patient information, face to face and telephone contact with patients and the clinical staff, scanning documentation, minute taking, photocopying, sending and responding to emails, and providing a high level of general administration support to Mulberry 3 inpatient ward and the wider team as needed.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong team work ethic, sense of accountability, accompanied by an ability to work under time restraints and pressure at times. Please note for this role you will need the ability to travel independently and in a timely manner across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to meet strict time deadlines.

1. Word processing of all forms of correspondence, reports and summaries that are required by the team.
2. Undertake diary management for clinicians and/or managers, as required.
3. Organise clinics and associated appointments for clinics, using appropriate brought forward systems to manage work.
4. Provide operational support to colleagues, and supervision of Band 2 administration staff within the team, if required, as directed by Line Manager.
5. Deal with staff and service user requests that may be part of a cash office functions as and when required, and in accordance with Trust procedures.
6. Inputting and updating service user information and service user/team activity on computerised information systems, creating service user notes where necessary and according to policy.
7. Maintain filing in both paper and electronic records, ensuring that it is kept up to date at all times. In accordance with Trust procedures, track and receive notes in a timely manner.
8. Ensure good customer service by providing a professional and effective telephone service, taking accurate messages and providing information and signposting as requested and appropriate.
9. Undertake training of new staff as directed by Line Manager and/or other managers.
10. Provide cover as directed by Line Manager for other members of the admin team in their absence and assist with their workloads as necessary and undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required commensurate with the grade of the post.
