We are very excited to announce an exciting new job opportunity in our West Sussex DAWN Service – Womens Recovery Coordinator.

The role will be embedded within the Crawley area in West Sussex, area. The role will aim to enable women to accessing services and improve their life opportunities across a number of domains including mental and physical health, domestic abuse, experience within criminal justice system and/or social care system to improve their life opportunities.

The successful postholders will help to facilitate access to pharmacological and psychosocial interventions in a one to one and group-based settings. You will be expected to undertake an element of outreach work and engage with a wide range of external agencies and partners.

A comprehensive package of training will be offered to the successful candidates depending on individual skills and knowledge.

Hours: 37.5 per week

Full Time Salary Range: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time)

Contract Type: Perm

*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.


About the role:

To support women to engage with Drug and Alcohol Services.
Assist in co-ordinating access to Drug and Alcohol interventions for women as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.
Proactively refer and support women to access appropriate services.
Participate in assertive outreach to support women access treatment.
Represent CGL in appropriate forums and networks, both locally and nationally, relating to women only services and facilities
Contribute to the implementation and promotion of the service and champion women only issues.
To be part of a high performing team that achieve meeting set targets.


About you:

The post holder will have knowledge and/or experience of working with women.
Experience working in drug and alcohol services.
The ability to work remotely and autonomously.
The experience of engaging with women who have a variety of backgrounds and needs.
The ability to work with and manage challenging behaviour.
Knowledge of local geographical area.
Commitment, knowledge and experience of partnership and multiagency working, both internally and externally.
Good knowledge of safeguarding relating to adults and children
