Summary

Salary £30,131 per annumJob Objectives and Responsibilities• Working with multi skilled colleagues they coordinate movements from start to end of process to ensure efficiency and compliance.Main Duties• Reviews timings against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). • As a team of Operational Coordinators provide 24/7 operational cover and oversight for International Removals.• Assists in decision making on jobs, advising and instructing relevant parties accordingly.• Monitors jobs in progress and provides a back up/alternative solution for any issues or delays.• Liaises with relevant parties with updates, issues, delays caused by third party locations impacting on targets/KPIs.• Receives and logs movement notification orders in order of priority and date of transfer.• Quality check details to ensure the correct information is present and notify client of any errors or missing data.• Cross check on system to determine whether the order is an existing or new record, updating or creating orders where necessary.• Ensure that all cancellation and amendment requests are escalated to the correct team in a timely manner.• Keeps systems updated within their area of responsibility so that any MI reporting requirements is as relevant as possible.• First point of contact for customers, stakeholders and clients to answer queries and resolve issues.• Usage of a tracking system for company vehicles.• Correctly escalating and updating the Operational Control Manager of any incidents that may occur.• Specificially ensuring all roles and responsibilities within the respective areas are covered as well as understanding the wider workforce to enable collaborative working practices.Person Specification• Ability to gain a quick understanding of client rules, processes and procedures.• Good general IT skills.• Engaging and collaborating with multiple customers and stakeholders.• Proactive - To be able to perform in fast moving and pressurised environments, with flexibility, adaptability & agility.• Drives high expectations and performance goals for themselves.• Drives and delivers consistent processes and procedures to improve efficiency and customer experience.• Able to apply self-learning and improvement.• High energy and personal resilience - a can do approach.• Excellent standard of verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to see new and innovative ways of working.• Personal skills such as negotiation, problem solving and the ability to build sound professional relationships.• Demonstrates a high level of initiative and common sense.• Ability to focus on customer requirements.• Ability to work well as part of a team.• Ability to remain calm under pressure.• Ability to become security cleared via a Home Office Counter Terrorist Clearance (CTC) check.Please see below for the Care and Custody competencies and Mitie values and behaviours that are important for this role.Health and Safety Responsibilities• Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times.• Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.• Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.• Ensure to remain in date with all relevant training and refreshers.Information Security• Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities.• Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager.• Report actual and suspected security incidents.
