Summary

SEN Teaching Assistant - Salford (M30)

Long-term role | Start ASAP | £107 per day

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist primary school in Salford (M30). This is a long-term opportunity starting ASAP, supporting children with a range of complex needs in a nurturing and well-resourced setting.

The Role:

You will be supporting pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs, including:

Support may be delivered 1:1 or in small groups, both in the classroom and during structured activities, with a strong focus on communication, engagement, and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils with learning, communication and sensory needs

Assisting with personalised learning programmes linked to EHCP targets

Providing personal care where required (training provided if needed)

Working closely with teachers, therapists and SEN professionals

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience supporting children with ASD and/or complex SEN (PMLD, SLD, MLD)


Experience supporting children with ASD and/or complex SEN (PMLD, SLD, MLD)

Confident following care plans, behaviour plans and EHCPs
