Salary: £28,808 per annum, plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Camden Office, Alperton Central Depot, Marsh Road, Alperton Lane, Wembley, Middlesex, HA0 1ES

What you'll be doing;

  • Manage operational administration for the Resourcing Department, ensuring contract objectives are met
  • Maintain accurate fleet records and ensure compliance with road transport legislation
  • Coordinate staffing levels and liaise with Workshops/Transport Manager to ensure full service deployment
  • Oversee induction training for new employees and agency staff, maintaining personnel records
  • Monitor daily driver compliance including tachograph data, driving hours, and infringements
  • Manage vehicle maintenance schedules, MOT/LOLER/inspection expiries, and defect reporting
  • Conduct driver debriefs, update operational systems (Vision, Echo), and ensure accurate data recording
  • Coordinate annual driving licence checks and monthly eyesight assessments
  • Distribute safety communications (toolbox talks, fleet alerts) and maintain document control
  • Analyse operational data to maintain service excellence and report risks to Operations Manager

What we're looking for;

Essential:

  • Strong knowledge of fleet and road transport law.
  • Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency with fleet management systems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Prior management/Team Leadership experience

Desirable:

  • Prior experience in the Waste Industry.
  • Prior experience as an Operations Controller.
