About the Role
A well‑established construction and joinery organisation is seeking an experienced Construction Administrator to support a busy office within a small, friendly team. This role provides full end‑to‑end administrative support across construction and joinery operations, acting as the central point of contact for all administrative activity. Strong communication skills, initiative, and a willingness to learn are essential. The employer is committed to equality and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
Key Requirements
Strong organisational skills
Experience in a fast‑paced administrative role, ideally within construction
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
Professional telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to take ownership of tasks from start to finish
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent attention to detail
Reliable, conscientious team player
Experience with Redsky or Union Square software is desirable, or willingness to learn
Smart, professional presentation
Key Responsibilities
Handling incoming calls and supporting customer enquiries
Processing orders using internal software
Producing invoices and pro‑forma documentation
Supporting compliance and accreditation processes
Assisting with Health & Safety administration
Ordering stock and managing electronic stock control
Liaising with internal departments
Data entry and database maintenance
Maintaining electronic and manual filing systems
General administrative support
Communicating with suppliers and clients via phone and email
Coordinating with logistics providers
Salary: £28,000–£32,000**
