WithYouWithMe is supporting the growth of a highly specialist Defence capability based in Harrogate. This is a rare opportunity for someone at the early stages of their engineering career ( particularly from a military or defence background ) to step into long-term, meaningful work within a secure environment.
Due to the nature of the work, details are limited at this stage. What we can share is that this role sits at the intersection of systems and software engineering, supporting mission-critical activity within a classified setting.
About the opportunity
Full-time role based 100% on site in a secure facility
Lower barrier to entry than many defence roles, but UKSV DV clearance is essential
Small, specialised team with long-term growth plans
Opportunity to be part of a pilot train-and-deploy pathway, with structured support and development
Who this role is for
We’re particularly keen to hear from individuals who:
Already hold active UKSV DV clearance
Have a background in the Armed Forces, Defence, or national security
Are early career engineers, or technically minded individuals looking to transition into systems/software engineering
Enjoy structured environments, on-site teamwork, and meaningful, mission-led work
You don’t need to be a fully-fledged software engineer on day one. What matters most is:
Strong technical curiosity and problem-solving ability
Willingness to learn across systems and software disciplines
