A modern small animal practice in Coventry is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN looking for a role that offers flexibility, stability and the chance to continue developing clinically within a well-established practice. The team is led by an experienced and long-standing branch partner and benefits from a loyal and engaged client base.

The practice is purpose-built and has recently undergone a full refurbishment. Facilities include a dedicated nurse consulting room, sterile operating theatre, self-contained dental suite with dental x-ray, standard x-ray room, separate kennels and cattery, and a large outdoor space. Nurses are actively involved in a wide range of clinical duties, including nurse-led clinics and patient care.

The role is 30 hours per week, worked on a rota between 8:30am and 7:30pm, with 1 in 6 Saturdays, making it ideal for someone seeking a strong work–life balance without compromising on clinical exposure or development.

The Role

• Deliver consistently high standards of patient and client care
• Support veterinary surgeons with surgeries and procedures, including pre- and post-operative care
• Run nurse-led consultations and schedule 3 activities
• Monitor inpatients and manage admissions and discharges
• Dispense and check medications accurately
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day practice operations

About You

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
• Experienced in small animal practice
• Confident working as part of a close-knit team
• Passionate about patient care and client communication
• Keen to contribute to a positive, supportive working environment

Benefits Package

• Excellent salary £30,000 - £32,000 FTE
• 24/7 private GP service
• Generous annual leave allowance, increasing with service, plus an additional paid personal day
• CPD allowance with paid study leave
• Funded certificate opportunities and access to internal clinical communities
• Professional fees covered
• Wellbeing support, including counselling services
• Life assurance (3x salary)
• Travel, cycle-to-work and employee discount schemes

This role would suit a Registered Veterinary Nurse seeking a part-time position within a modern, well-run practice that values development, teamwork and maintaining a healthy work–life balance.
