Crynodeb
The post would be based at the Whipps Cross University Hospital and is part of Barts NHS Trust. Whipps Cross Hospital provides the full range of local general hospital services as well as ophthalmology, maxillofacial surgery and hyperbaric medicine. The Maternity Department includes Special Care Baby Unit, together with two operating theatres. There are approximately 5500 deliveries per year. The nationally recognised 9-bedded Intensive Therapy Unit and 6 bedded high dependency unit. The contract is 12 month, fixed-term and is 20 hours Clinical time which will be undertaken for service delivery within anaesthesia, labour ward and intensive care and 16 hours Education and service delivery time. This is a 36 hour week contract with no on calls as part of this post. Personal Development The post holder would be responsible for their own personal development plan, with regards to educational work. Regular appraisal must be undertaken with their clinical supervisor, and Director of Medical Education/Specialty Tutor/ Simulation Lead
