An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Lecturer in Radiography in the School of Allied Health Professions and Pharmacy, within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Radiographer to teach across Radiography undergraduate and postgraduate curricula including apprentice routes. The School offers high quality undergraduate and postgraduate provision and is part of a wider research community integrated within Schools and the Faculty. We are particularly seeking those candidates with a strong clinical background in practical skills including those of paediatrics and trauma. Those new to teaching will be welcome to apply and will be required to undertake a teaching certification (if not already held).

BSc (Hons) Radiography (Diagnostic Imaging) has been proudly and consistently recognised as high quality by our graduating students, as well as with employers. Enjoying excellent facilities, students study in a bespoke Radiography Diagnostic Imaging Suite with state-of-the-art simulation facilities and bespoke digital health hub for image interpretation to support their learning. Students also all have inter-professional educational opportunities with other Faculty of Medicine and Health Science students. The Radiography programme includes an apprentice route (radiography and assistant practitioner routes) and an MSc Medical Imaging programme. Additionally, Keele Radiography works with University Hospital North Midlands Radiology department within an Imaging Academy Hub in the Midlands region. These opportunities offer exciting prospects to individuals wishing to further their scholarship and research activities as well as widen their teaching and learning skills.
