As Earned Recognition Mech Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead our nationwide team of examiners, ensuring our service meets the highest DVSA standards. You’ll bring technical expertise, drive audit quality, and shape best practices in partnership with the National Account Manager. Your leadership will foster an inclusive, high-performing team that delivers efficient, high-quality service and achieves business targets.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Monitor, develop and implement the Earned Recognition audit standards, maintenance standards, KPIs and develop audit standards for associated schemes.
- Oversee the monitoring of external audit providers ensuring they are acting in accordance with their accreditation.
- Using expert knowledge work with the Earned Recognition team to develop ER products from inception through to implementation and if necessary, closure.
- Act as point of DVSA contact for scheme members and liaise with trade associations and external bodies to represent the Earned Recognition Scheme
- Conduct desk-based assessment of operator’s processes and procedures to ensure that they meet regulatory requirements and ER standards.
- Visit operators where necessary in order to develop and maintain good working relationship and to overcome any particular issues arising.
- Manage a team of examiners based in locations nationwide.
