What you'll doThis is very exciting time to be joining Nottingham College as we embark on our pathway to becoming an exceptional College. This will include transforming our delivery of estates services, enhancing our current estate, and being exceptional in all that we do.The Head of Estates and Maintenance will be responsible for a broad portfolio of services within the Directorate including property maintenance, hard facilities management (FM) services and the capex delivery. This role will be expected to bring new ways of thinking and innovation, leading on strategies to introduce efficient and cost-effective customer focussed ways of working, and modernisation including developing concepts for smarter working methods. Successful delivery of these services is critical to the operational success of the College, hence, we are seeking an experienced practitioner who can support colleagues’ whilst developing the team and improving service provision.
The role will also be expected to work in collaboration with the Head of Safety and Facilities, with the two roles working jointly to establish a harmonised estates and facilities service.Nottingham College’s estate comprises of six campuses, which are a mix of modern high-tech buildings through to Grade 2 Listed properties within the historic Lace Market area of Nottingham.Who we're looking forYou'll have extensive experience in estates or facilities management at a senior level, experience of organising and managing hard facilities services in a multi site environment, experience of managing safety and safeguarding processes,*Degree level qualification in a related discipline.For further details on this post which the job description and person specification cannot answer for you, please contact Gary McGinty on Gary.McGinty@nottinghamcollege.ac.ukInterviews / Assessments are planned for: 19th January 2025Why Join usCompetitive salary –£57,782 to £65,270per annum FTE.
