Experienced - TIG Welder / Fabricator – £14–£18/hr + Overtime + Private Healthcare

Full-time | Sheffield | Monday to Friday

Job Highlights

• Pay: £14.00–£18.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
• Hours: 40 hours per week (day shift)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, with overtime available (paid at time and a half)

Key Responsibilities

• MIG & TIG Welding
• Press Brake and Plasma Cutter operation
• Drilling, countersinking, rolling sheet metal
• Reading and interpreting technical and fabrication drawings
• Working with stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel (1mm–10mm)
• Developing sheet metal patterns

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of sheet metal experience (preferred)
• Confident working from detailed engineering drawings
• Skilled, self-sufficient, and reliable
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator TIG

Pay: NMW depending on age

What they will learn

This isn’t just welding it’s a skilled trade where you’ll create, tanks, hoppers, and architectural projects using different types of metals. During your apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to:

• MIG and TIG weld mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
• Fold, roll, guillotine, and press sheet metal into complex shapes
• Read and work from technical drawings
• Gain real experience working on a variety of exciting projects

Working Hour

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30AM–4:30PM
• Friday: 8:00AM–2:30PM
