Summary
ROLE: Bodyshop Technician
LOCATION: Sheffield
SALARY: £20.00 per hour + bonus + company benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00 – 5.00
We are excited to be recruiting for a Bodyshop Technician / Panel Beater / MET Technician / Painter for our clients bodyshop in Sheffield.
This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest growing motor groups.
As a Bodyshop Technician / Panel Beater / MET Technician / Painter , you will be responsible for the MET, panel and paint work for customers’ vehicles, readying them for the road ahead.
Representing a variety of manufacturers and carrying out work on a diverse range of vehicles and models, you will take great pride in your work, taking complete ownership of your customers and completing your jobs to the highest standard.
An average day as a Bodyshop Technician / Panel Beater / MET Technician / Painter :
• Utilising your expanding knowledge of our manufacturer’s vehicles and features you will be responsible for the of our customers vehicles to an exemplary standard within the express bodyshop.
• Working as part of a capable and motivated team, you will complete MET, panel and paint work
• You will accurately and skilfully complete and repair customers and internal repairs on cars.
• Upon the completion of jobs, using diagnostic equipment and road testing, you will check the level and quality of work that has been carried out.
About YOU:
• We will consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the automotive sector within a bodyshop role.
• Fantastic communication skills and thrive working in a challenging yet rewarding environment
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Worked within the bodyshop environment
