Duties typical of an MOT Technician with our client:
- Perform MOT tests in compliance with DVSA standards, with current MOT licence
- Service vehicles, including routine maintenance, diagnostic work, and repairs
- Carry out brake, clutch, timing belt replacements
- Utilise modern diagnostic tools and software for fault diagnosis
- Maintain workshop standards, health, and safety compliance
- Deliver excellent customer service while upholding workshop standards
Requirements:
- Valid MOT tester’s licence, with recent testing experience preferred or DVSA update within the last 6 months
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven experience as an MOT Technician within a professional workshop environment
- Technical proficiency with diagnostic equipment and vehicle repair procedures
- NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent (preferred)
- A proactive work approach, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Commitment to maintaining high standards and delivering excellent customer satisfaction
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
