The Sales Coordinator role:
Your main responsibility, as part of a small, friendly and motivated team, is to research, generate and maintain a flow of opportunities for Ian Williams
More specifically, you will be communicating daily over the phone, making calls to key decision makers (existing, lapsed, and new clients) across the UK to successfully secure appointments for our local operational units to attend. This role just to highlight is massively focused on building up relationships new and existing so someone with a warm, friendly personality
You will develop and consistently build relationships internally with Business Managers and the wider Business Development team, as well as externally with prospective and existing clients. Although you will be expected to make targeted outbound calls, this is not a call centre environment!
You will take ownership and accountability for maintaining an accurate and up to date CRM system.
Please note there will be some travel required for team meetings and on occasion for visiting suppliers or client’s premises. Expenses can be claimed.
What will you bring to the Sales Coordinator role?
Experience of working within a sales and/or a customer service targeted environment; someone who can build relationships up with ease and work on their own initiative. This could be gained from a sales, account management, or any customer service focused role that specifically requires you to build long term relationships
You’ll describe yourself as an effective communicator with an engaging telephone manner, someone who is genuinely passionate about delivering a high level of customer service internally and externally.
You’ll have a keen interest in construction, maintenance and/or refurbishments. We want to hear from people who truly care about the services we provide.
A focused, engaging, flexible, driven person and, most importantly, a team player. We know that the key to our success in the Business Development team is to support each other to meet targets, ultimately impacting the business growth long term so that everyone can share in your success.
A whole lot of resilience with the strength of character and the determination to succeed. It is all about the person and their behaviours at Ian Williams; the more you put in, the more you get out!
