About this Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated and motivated Administrative Assistant to join us at Thomas Knyvet College. The successful candidate will provide support on routine administrative activities to enable the school to function efficiently.
Working Pattern: 35 hours per week over 39 weeks per year (Term time); Monday to Friday 7:30am to 3:00pm (with a 30 minute break)
What We’re Looking For:
- Good level of numeracy and literacy skills (e.g., GCSE English and Maths or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of relevant systems, equipment, process and procedures.
- Enthusiasm, good listening skills, and an ability to follow instructions.
- Competent in a range of IT tools.
- Alignment with our values: Integrity, Partnership, Advocacy, Resilience, Compassion, and Aspiration.
Key duties include but not are restricted to:
- To provide an efficient and accurate support service for Cover and Front Office.
- Allocate appropriate cover staff to cover classes to ensure all classes are supervised.
- To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
