Background to Post The Whittington/Institute of Child Health (ICH) Undergraduate Teaching Fellow role is a unique, dynamic and rewarding opportunity for an ambitious trainee who wishes to combine clinical paediatrics with high-quality medical education. Based jointly at the Whittington Hospital and the Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (GOS ICH), this post offers an exceptional training and development experience. Lead the Intercalated BSc (iBSc) in Paediatrics and Child Health The iBSc in Paediatrics and Child Health at GOS ICH is one of the most popular intercalated programmes at UCL Medical School. The Teaching Fellow plays a key role in its delivery, with responsibilities that may include: Contributing to curriculum design and refinement Setting and marking assessments Designing and delivering teaching sessions Developing and adapting learning objectives Providing academic support to the student cohort This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with an entire BSc cohort, shaping their first clinical experiences in paediatrics and inspiring future paediatricians.
