Plus generous benefits, including: • 45 days annual leave per year pro rata (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)• Generous Occupational Pension SchemeAbout the roleThe main purpose of the role is to secure and arrange meaningful high quality work placements for students predominantly studying a T Level qualification. A substantial amount of time will be spent working with employers to secure work placements by speaking with them by phone or email, providing them with information, advice and guidance ensuring the placement is suitable. Meanwhile completing accompanying administration and record keeping. The successful candidate will liaise with curriculum teams, industry leads, employers, student support teams, and parents/carers to ensure a high-quality experience for students, contributing to their overall qualification achievement. Working days are flexible and can be discussed at interview. We are open to discussing other possibilities for flexible working and encourage you to talk to us at interview about the flexibility you need. We can’t promise to give you exactly what you want, but we will explore what’s possible for the role.About the PersonYou will bring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels, both within College and external stakeholders. Your commitment to supporting students will help ensure that every student has access to high quality placement opportunities, with a clear understanding of the benefits for both employers and the students. Meanwhile maintaining and enhancing partnerships with our existing employers, while also identifying and fostering new partnerships. Along with building strong links with curriculum areas and staff. About the CollegeWe are a large, regional college serving a population across York and North Yorkshire of more one million people. Each year, we have approximately 4,000 school leavers, 1,000 apprentices, 2,000 adult students, and 400 higher-level students studying with us. Our wide range of education options span entry level programmes through to degrees, higher technical qualifications, and accredited professional courses to courses for professional development. Our apprenticeships can be studied from level 2 to level 5 across a range of different career pathways.
