Summary
Personnel Solutions are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our client's busy and professional workshop team, working under the support of the Supervisor and Workshop Manager to deliver work to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
Undertake tyre changes and road/ramp testing
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
Ensure repairs follow approved methods and quality procedures
Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines
Complete all job cards and documentation accurately
Support junior technicians and assist with general workshop duties
Requirements
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) – essential
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to work independently and make technical decisions
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Passion for the motor industry and high standards
