Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Salary: £14.48 - £15.55 per hour
Pure Staff Ltd are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Prepper to join our client's Bodyshop team in Corby.
This role plays a vital part in the daily production of the Bodyshop department, helping to achieve production targets while ensuring vehicles are finished to the highest customer standards. You will be working across a range of vehicles, from small family cars to light commercial vehicles, within a professional and supportive team environment.
Your Role as a Vehicle Prepper
- Preparing vehicles for paint, including masking, sanding and priming panels
- Checking prepared panels to ensure there are no defects
- Working on a range of vehicles including cars and light commercial units
- Following set processes and standards to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective work
- Supporting the Bodyshop team in other areas when required
- Checking all work prior to starting to ensure repair standards are met
- Completing accurate parts requisitions
- Working efficiently to meet deadlines and production targets
- Maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Bodyshop Technician / Vehicle Prepper
- Full valid UK driving licence (manual & automatic) - essential
- Must be 21+ and have held a driving licence for at least 2 years (insurance requirements)
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Passion for the motor industry and pride in producing high‑quality work
- Willingness to support junior technicians when required
Pay & Shifts
- £14.48 - £15.55 per hour
- Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 16:00
