This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, cost-effective planned investment works and maintenance services across our diverse property portfolio.About the RoleAs a Contract Surveyor, you’ll lead operational activities relating to the procurement, oversight, and performance monitoring of contractors appointed by the Group. You’ll ensure repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance programmes, and ad hoc projects are delivered on time, within agreed budgets, and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction-while driving value for money and social value across all contracts.You’ll work closely with customers, contractors, and colleagues across the Group, providing technical advice and support where required. A key part of the role involves maintaining accurate stock condition data, promptly addressing hazards, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.What You’ll Be DoingManaging procurement and performance monitoring of contractors.Overseeing planned investment works and maintenance services across general needs, independent living, Progress Living, and Reside with Progress properties.Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards of customer satisfaction.Maintaining accurate stock condition data and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Driving value for money and social value across all contracts.What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a someone who possesses:Strong experience in contract management and property maintenance.Excellent knowledge of compliance, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Proven ability to manage budgets and monitor contractor performance.Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to challenge and support contractors effectively.Full UK Driver License and use of your own vehicle.
