Are you an inspiring Humanities Teacher (QTS) with the power to help students understand the past, the present, and the planet? We are searching for dedicated subject specialists in History, Geography, or RE to join our partner secondary schools across Preston for an immediate start.

Whether you are leading a debate on global sustainability, exploring the impact of the Industrial Revolution, or discussing ethics and philosophy, you will foster a classroom environment where empathy and enquiry thrive. This is your chance to guide Key Stage 3 and 4 students through their GCSEs and help them become informed, global citizens.
Your Responsibilities-
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Humanities lessons (History, Geography, or RE) across KS3 and KS4.

Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring they have mastered key concepts and analytical writing.

Create a high-expectations learning environment that fosters respect for diverse viewpoints and cultures.

Use primary sources, maps, and contemporary data to bring your subject to life.

Monitor and track student progress, providing the feedback and interventions needed for them to thrive.

Contribute to the wider school community, including departmental planning and extra-curricular clubs.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Proven experience teaching your Humanities specialism within a UK secondary school.

Strong subject knowledge of the National Curriculum and relevant exam board specifications.

Ability to use "Assessment for Learning" to drive engagement and attainment.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong rapport with young people.

A commitment to safeguarding, with a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history.
