Your new role
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Deliver engaging and well‑structured lessons aligned with the Year 1 curriculum
- Create a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and early literacy
- Work closely with the KS1 team to plan, assess, and support pupil progress
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1
- A passion for early learning and phonics development
- Strong behaviour management and a warm, consistent approach
- Someone who brings energy, creativity, and a genuine love of teaching
