Your new role
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging Year 2 lessons that spark curiosity and deepen understanding
- Create a warm, emotionally safe classroom where children feel confident taking risks.
- Support pupils' transition toward KS2 expectations through well‑structured learning
- Differentiate and scaffold learning to ensure every child makes progress
- Encourage independence and reflective thinking in daily routines and learning tasks
- Work collaboratively with the KS1 team to share ideas and maintain consistency.
