Crynodeb
The contract is 12 month, fixed-term and is 60:40 clinical and education. 60% of the time will be undertaken within Respiratory. 40% of the time will be dedicated to Education Delivery.The successful candidate will join the Respiratory on-call rota working respiratory weekends and non-resident respiratory on-calls. The weekends are currently on a 1 in 5 rota at the Royal London site, but this may be subject to change and the non-resident on-calls are current at a frequency of 1 in 7. There is an option to consider bandingYou will be expected to have at least two years of accredited core medical training to the level of IMT2 or equivalent and respiratory medicine. You will be expected to have passed MRCP Royal College of Physicians Membership examinations and have previous experience in delivering education. This would typically suit anyone wishing to undertake further training as part of an Out of Programme Experience (OOPE) from their Speciality Trainee training programme. Agreement must be sought with the relevant Training Programme Director / Head of School and Deanery. There will be opportunities to be involved in other teaching programmes including Foundation Trainees and interdisciplinary simulation training
