Support our busy kitchen team
We’re looking for a hard-working, reliable Kitchen Porter to join the team at Aysgarth Falls Hotel — home to Palmers Restaurant and, soon, our beautiful new Hyllside Suites, opening in the New Year.
This role is essential in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
What you’ll be doing
Pot washing and keeping all crockery, cutlery and utensils clean
Cleaning kitchen equipment, work areas and floors
Emptying rubbish and helping maintain hygiene standards
Supporting chefs with basic prep when required
Working safely and following food hygiene guidelines
We’re looking for someone who
Works quickly, efficiently and takes pride in keeping things spotless
Is reliable, punctual and able to cope during busy periods
Can follow instructions and work well as part of a team
Has a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
(Previous experience is helpful, but not essential — full training can be provided.)
