Summary


The Town Clerk’s Business Support Services provide business and IT project support to a range of professional services including Legal Services, Procurement, Democratic Services, Building & Design Services and Local Land Charges.
The Service is seeking a Business Manager whose work will focus on developing and applying ICT systems and progressing business projects. This will include the development of Power BI performance dashboards for the different professional teams within the service in order to monitor performance, drive efficiencies and embed service changes and improvement. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for managing the Council’s Land Charges Function and maintaining the Statutory Register of Local Land Charges.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of the positive progression of projects, particularly IT focussed projects, good technical understanding of case management systems including the development of workflows and reports derived from such systems, including Power Bi reports. In addition the candidate will have excellent problem solving skills including the ability to devise innovative solutions to technical problems.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate a desire to embrace and embed change in order to develop and improve systems and quality throughout the Town Clerks Services and be capable of working as part of team.
Knowledge of Local Land Charges functions is an essential requirement for this role.
