Support Worker
Birmingham, West Midlands
16 hours a week
Holte Housing LTD is a Birmingham-based Support Services Provider working with Supported Housing Providers to empower vulnerable adults. We support individuals facing challenges such as mental health issues, substance misuse, offending history, financial hardship, and physical health conditions.
We’re looking for a compassionate and flexible Support Worker to join our growing team and make a real difference in people’s lives.
What You’ll Do
• Provide 1 hour of person-centred support per resident each week
• Conduct weekly well-being checks
• Promote independence and support residents toward independent living
• Support individuals and collaborate with external professionals in accessing external services including education, training, employment, healthcare, and specialist support services
• Compile weekly support notes
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting vulnerable adults, although this is not necessary as full training can be given
• Comfortable using smartphones and online systems
• Enhanced DBS required (or willing to obtain)
• Access to a vehicle and ability to travel across Birmingham
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and reliability
• Health & Social Care Level 2 or higher (preferred)
