Crynodeb
A key component of this role will be the delivery and further development of the Nuclear Medicine therapy service. Applicants must therefore demonstrate extensive experience in radionuclide therapies, including but not limited to I therapy for benign and malignant thyroid disease, Ra-dichloride, and Lu-DOTATATE for neuroendocrine tumours. Candidates must have current, active involvement in the independent evaluation, consent, prescription, administration, and follow-up of patients undergoing radionuclide therapies within their present post. Applicants must also demonstrate extensive experience in the independent reporting of the full range of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine studies, with evidence of ongoing practice and maintenance of competence. The successful applicant will be expected to participate fully in the clinical governance framework, including MDT meetings, audit, teaching, supervision of trainees, service development, and quality improvement activities.
