Crynodeb

We are a livery and competition yard based in the Sussex/Kent borders. We have a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to further their career in the equine industry. Applicants will be required to complete a range of daily tasks and be able to handle variety of top-quality horses.
Tasks will include:

Mucking out
Turning out/bring in horses
Daily care for horses
Daily yard maintenance
Feeding/watering/hay
Grooming/trimming
Bathing/platting
Tacking up/show prep
Exercising – riding/lunging
Basic business interactions with liveries
Desired Skills & Personal Qualities:

Hard working
Applicants should have some previous experience of dealing with horses and must show this on their application
Team Player
Desired Qualifications:

Maths and English GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C/4 or above
Applicants must not already hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in the equine sector to be eligible for this apprenticeship.

Training

Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
The applicant will be working towards a Level 2 Equine Groom Apprenticeship
The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.
The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship.
Things to consider

Bring your own horse and benefit from training and full livery (£70 per week)
Accommodation available (£55 per week)
Regular training for you from Anna herself.
