People and Organisational Development Manager Location: St Catherines Hospice, Lostock Hall, Preston (Hybrid working available) Salary: £39,500 per annum (37.5 hours per week) Department: People Team St Catherines Hospice is a special place to work; somewhere that you can feel incredibly proud to be a part of. A rare opportunity has arisen and we are seeking a People and Organisational Development Manager to lead our People Team and drive initiatives that make a real difference. This role is key to promoting a culture of where everyone feels valued, appreciated, listened to, supported and developed. What you'll do: Lead the People Team to deliver a professional values driven service Business Partner with managers and provide expert, professional advice and coaching on the full range of employment matters Manage employee relations casework and promote early resolution. Support/Lead on projects that include Wellbeing, Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity, Recruitment and Continuous Improvement. Oversee recruitment of staff and volunteers. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and CQC requirements. What were looking for: Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience. CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent (Level 7 desirable). Significant experience of advising on complex People issues. Strong knowledge of employment legislation. Excellent communication and influencing skills. Ability to manage projects and work independently.
