Operations ManagerSalary: £35,549 - £39,292 (DOE) (3% increase in April 2026)Location: Leyland, (Hybrid: 2-3 days office, 1-2 days site, 1-2 days home on average)Hours: 36.5 per week | Permanent | Lead Services That Change Lives. Our services prevent homelessness, provide refuge from domestic abuse, offer counselling to young people, and deliver vital community support. Last year alone, we helped over 7,000 people move towards safety, stability and independence.As an Operations Manager, the impact you make is direct and meaningful. Your decisions influence the quality of support a young person receives, the safety of a survivor leaving abuse, and the chance a family has to rebuild with dignity. Every improvement you make to our services translates into real change for real people.The Role: Operations ManagerYou will provide operational leadership across multiple services, ensuring they are safe, compassionate, high-quality and financially sustainable. Working alongside another Operations Manager and reporting to the Assistant Director, you will play a central role in shaping how our organisation supports communities locally & across Lancashire.You will:Lead and develop multi-disciplinary teams delivering trauma-informed, person-centred support.Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring safeguarding, quality frameworks and regulatory requirements are met.Strengthen service impact through continuous improvement, evidence-based practice and data insights.Mobilise new services - managing planning, resourcing, processes and launch.Oversee service budgets and ensure financial sustainability.Work in partnership with housing providers, local authorities, police, health partners and community organisations.Share operational coverage with the current Operations Manager to ensure resilience across services.Typical hybrid pattern: / subject to department needs2-3 days office (Leyland)1-2 days at Key’s operational locations 1-2 days home working (flexible)(Some flexibility required for occasional evenings/weekends - TOIL provided.)Lead With Purpose: The Difference Your Work MakesYour role ensures:Young people at risk of homelessness get the support they need to stay safe or secure accommodation.Survivors of domestic abuse receive consistent, high-quality support in a trauma-informed environment.Families in crisis experience joined-up services that help them rebuild stability.Local communities benefit from preventative, person-centred interventions that reduce harm and increase wellbeing.Your leadership directly influences positive outcomes for thousands of people each year.Progression and Professional DevelopmentWe are committed to helping you develop your career in operational leadership.
